Congratulations to Charo and all her team at GRETA - it was an excellent event and lovely to meet up with old friends (including Martin from the Council, of course) and make some new ones! Thanks so much for all your hospitality. I hope some of you watched the plenaries because they were all very interesting. I'm already looking forward to next year... XXV Curso Anual - Septiembre 2011.
Greta English Teachers' Association of Andalucia Calle Alta ,50 18640 Padul - Granada www.gretaassociation.org XXV GRETA Annual Conference "Listen to your heart; speak your mind" Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación, University of Granada, 8th , 9th and 10th September, 2011. Dear members and friends, GRETA, the English Teachers' Association of Andalucía is proud to announce the celebration of its XXV Annual Conference, which will take place on 8th, 9th and 10th of September 2011, at the University of Granada. The present edition will mainly focus on the teaching and learning of oral skills and competences, what and how we teach and any methodological advances made in this field from a pragmatic point of view, as well as other relevant issues concerning the teaching of English as a foreign language, organised in five main lines of work:
30 hours attendance will be certified by the Junta de Andalucía, which will compute for "oposiciones" and "concursos de traslados" and university students will be certified 1.5 free configuration credits by their respective universities. All those students who decide to become members of GRETA during the 2011 Annual Conference will get full membership until the end of 2012 and get member reductions in the registration prices of all events oragnised by GRETA and other teachers associations during the year. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT Attendance fees will be paid via bank transfer to the following account number. Registration will not be effective until the bank transfer has been made and notification is received by the Organising Committee, together with the Registration Form (online registration to the left of this box).

XXV Curso Anual para la Enseñanza del Inglés GRETA Annual Conference "Listen to your Heart; Speak your Mind!" 8, 9 y 10 de Septiembre 2011 Another year of hard work has finally culminated in our XXV Annual Conference. As ever, speakers, organisers, sponsors and attendants have done their best to make it happen. We feel especially obliged to mention the quality of the talks and workshops delivered by our speakers this year, the help and contribution made by the University of Granada and, above all, the enthusiasm of the attendants, who have, with their kind comments and supportive attitude, convinced us that it is always worth to count on hard work and dedication and that, what we do, is both necessary and welcome. I must personally thank Professor José Antonio Naranjo, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, and Professors Daniel Madrid, José Luis Ortega and Stephen Hughes for their invaluable help. I also think it fitting to congratulate the group of people who help run GRETA these days and make everything materialise when necessary, including the people who have acted as Conference assistants. Without a shadow of a doubt, they have been the best possible conference assistants any organisation could ever wish for.
