Instructions:

1         Copy one sheet of time expressions per each pair of students, cut out and hand out an envelope with the cut outs.

2         Give students 10 minutes to sort out the expressions in two piles or boxes; one FOR and one SINCE.

3         The pair to get the most expressions correctly sorted is the winner.

4         As an alternative, you can award prices to the first pair to finish sorting all of the cut outs in two piles correctly.
